These works have now been delayed due to a previous Road closure diversion on Station Road over running. New dates for this TTRO is 07/12/2020 to 15/01/2021, these works will also remain installed over the Christmas period.

The Network Rail (East West Rail) (Bicester to Bedford Improvements) Order 2020 was made under the Transport and Works Act 1992 by the Secretary of State for Transport on 29 January 2020 and came into force on 25 February 2020.
The Order authorises Network Rail to construct a new railway (including the reconstruction of the existing railway) between Bicester and Bedford. To enable construction the Order authorises Network Rail to close streets and footpaths for any reasonable time.
This public Notice is for the temporary closure on Bicester Road from 07/12/2020 to and including 15/01/2021.This is a 24hrs full closure each day. Distance of closure is 0.3 miles
Notice of the temporary closures and alternative routes will be published in the local press by Network Rail.
