The Town Council
Bicester Town Council has 15 members and they are elected every four years to serve the population of the Town. Several Town Councillors are also Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Councillors.
The Town Council appoints the following Committees:
- Environment Committee
- Finance Committee
- Planning Committee
- Policy Committee
The Town Council meets every 8 weeks or so. Please see the calendar for the dates of the meetings. All Council and Parent Committee meetings are open to the public.
The Town Council also has the following Sub-Committees and Working Parties:
- Personnel Sub-Committee
- Standing Orders Working Party
- Events Working Party
- Assets Working Party
- Bicester Traffic Advisory Group
Many of the Working Parties are in conjunction with outside bodies.
The Town Council Office, in Garth Park is the main point of contact for Councillors and community.
