We’re delighted to introduce Tod, the newest member of the Bicester Town Council family!
Ever wondered where the name “Tod” comes from? It’s an old English and Scots word for a fox, making it the perfect name for our furry friend! 
Did you know Bicester also has historic links to fox hunting? For many years, the town was closely associated with hunting traditions in the local countryside, forming part of Bicester’s rich heritage. Today, Tod celebrates our local history in a fun, friendly, and family-focused way.
You’ll be seeing Tod out and about at all of our events, bringing smiles, high-fives and plenty of photo opportunities! 
So if you spot him, don’t be shy—come and say hello, grab a selfie, and give Tod a warm Bicester welcome!
