- Road closures are now in place until Friday 11th January to facilitate repairs by Thames Water.
- Network Rail structural engineer has no concerns regarding the bridge.
- Footpaths have re-opened.
- Pipework repair estimated to be completed by 08.00hrs tomorrow (Thursday) however restoration of the road will take longer.
Cherwell Crime Partnership have notified us of an increase in purse thefts. We therefore advise all visitors to the town centre to be extra vigilent especially the vulnerable.

Bicester Town Council has been advised that Thames Valley Police has served Travellers who set up an unauthorised encampment at Whitelands Farm Sports Ground earlier this week with a Sec 61 Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 notice to leave by 1530hrs Friday 18th May 2018.

We are aware of an unauthorised encampment on Kingsmere and are in touch with the relevant authorities (Cherwell District Council, Oxfordshire County Council and Thames Valley Police).
The site has been inspected and legal processes are underway.
