This weekend in honour of Poland National Independence Day and our twinned town Czernichow in Poland, we will be flying the Polish flag on flagpole 3 in line with our Flag Policy.
This Sunday at St. Edburg’s Church is the annual Remembrance Day Service.
The service commences at 10.55am at the Church with the main parade taking place from 12 Noon. The parade makes its way from St. Edburg’s to the Market Square.
Taking the salute in Market Square will be the Bicester Town Mayor, Councillor Les Sibley, and the Deputy Lieutenant, Mrs Miranda Markham.
Garth Park will be flying the flag of Remembrance until Monday 13th November.
The Snowflake Competition has begun! As of today, 20 snowflakes have been hidden in shop windows throughout the town centre – all you have to do is find them! All forms have been sent out to the schools for book bags and the closing date for entries is Monday 27th November. Clues will be added over the weeks. Happy hunting!!

Today we are flying the German Flag in Garth Park in recognition of German Unity Day as Bicester is twinned with Neunkirchen-Seelscheid. This is in line with the Bicester Town Council Flag Policy.
