If you need help to buy food or heat your home this winter, you can now apply to the Winter Support Grant Scheme.The support is available through Citizens Advice North Oxon & South Northants, in the form of advice, supermarket and fuel vouchers or through the direct payment of energy or water bills. Cherwell District Council‘s Councillor Andrew McHugh, Lead Member for Health and Wellbeing, said: “No-one in Cherwell should be going hungry or be worried about turning on the heating or cooker because they can’t afford it. Anyone who is in need, or friends, relatives or neighbours, should not hesitate to contact Citizens Advice. The COVID Winter Support Grant Scheme is there to help.”
