The flag of Wales will be flying in Garth Park today to celebrate St David’s Day. It will flutter alongside the Union and St George’s flags, which are both permanent fixtures in the Launton Road park.
St David’s Day is celebrated by Welsh people on March 1. Special parades and concerts take place in Wales and many people pin a leek or daffodil to their clothes to mark the day.
