Bicester Town Council is responsible for running and maintaining the Bicester Cemetery site located between St. Edburg’s Church and Pingle Field.
The Cemetery is closed to applications for new burials. Bicester Town Council has identified land where a new cemetery can be developed. We are in the process of waiting for the developer to transfer the land and will then need to acquire planning permission for the site before building a new facility. We will update residents with news of a new site as and when this happens.
Arrangements for interments (burials), and memorials (headstones) should be arranged with the Funeral Directors or Stonemasons.
All other communications about the cemetery should be directed to cemetery@bicester.gov.uk
Our schedule of fees are up to date as of March 2024.
Please be advised that interments for non-Bicester Town residents are double fees.
