Residents are being warned the level crossing in London Road will be closed for works overnight on Sunday, September 2.
The closure will start at 6pm and will be in place until 6am on Sunday, September 3, for annual level-crossing maintenance.
Motorists are advised to use Charbridge Lane/Wretchwick Way as alternative routes.
