We were deeply saddened to learn about the passing of The Duke of Edinburgh. The Council would like to express its deepest condolences to all members of the Royal Family.
As a mark of respect, the flags will be flown at half-mast at the council office and some events and engagements will be cancelled.
Book of Condolence
Due to Covid-19, a Book of Condolence is not available at Garth House. An online Book of Condolence will be available at www.royal.uk.
Flowers
Residents may wish to lay flowers, candles or cuddly toys as a mark of respect. If residents visit The Garth, we would ask them to lay their tributes on the grassed area between the well and the bandstand.
Church Service
A church service will take place on Friday 16th April at 6pm which will be streamed from St Edburgs Church. Due to COVID-19 the service will be aired by Zoom, the log in details are:
