The nation will pause at midday today as part of the National Day of Reflection, Marie Curie is inviting people to join a minute of silence.
Today is the one-year anniversary of the country’s first lockdown and people are invited to pause and reflect on those who have lost their lives during the coronavirus pandemic.
At 8pm this evening there will be a candlelit vigil, stand outside with a light – a candle, a torch, even your phone – to remember someone who’s died and show your support to people going through a bereavement.
Some other ways to show your support can be found on the Marie Curie website.
#DayOfReflection.
