The feast of St George is commemorated today, celebrating England’s patron saint. According to the legend, St George was a solider in the Roman army who not only saved a princess, but also killed a dragon. Whist this year it will be a quieter celebration, we can all make our own homemade celebrations.
For all would-be knights, head over to English Heritage to battle a dragon! Make your own swords, shields and dragons!
