Race Across our Advice Region.
The event will invite families, friends, residents and workplace teams to use an app to explore local venues, solve clues, complete fun challenges and raise funds to keep free, independent and confidential advice available locally.
Citizens Advice is a local charity helping people and families with issues including debt, benefits, housing, employment, energy costs and the wider cost-of-living crisis. Demand for our help is increasing at the same time as our own costs are rising and grant funding is becoming harder to secure, so we are taking a more community-based fundraising approach.
Please could you share the attached poster and sign-up link through any appropriate channels, such as councillor networks, parish newsletters, community groups, local social media pages, council noticeboards, staff teams or voluntary sector contacts?
The event is also suitable for workplace teams as a fun team-building activity, so please do share it with any local employers or business contacts who may be interested.
Family entry is £30, and company/workplace team entry is £25 per person.
