Today marks Germany’s National Day and marks the reunification of Germany that took place on this day in 1990. Bicester is twinned with the town Neunkirchen-Seelscheid and we mark the raising of the German flag in honour of our friendship partner.

In recent times, town twinning has increasingly been used to form strategic international business links between member towns or cities.
