Garth Park
The destination park we have all been waiting for, with an investment of 400k we are determined to make Garth Park play area the place for all 2-14 year olds.
The play area will have 45+ pieces of play equipment catering for 100+ users, The play area is designed for inclusive play ensuring all users can access and imagine together, making Garth Park an inclusive, universal playground for all ages and abilities.
The play equipment is made from post-consumer waste such as worn-out fishing lines, textiles, and plastic bags in the panel’s decks and posts, not only does this make the play area environmentally friendly, but it also creates great sensory textures across the equipment.
The main tower slide is an outstanding 8.9m high.

Skate Park
A new £150,000 Skate Park was opened in Garth Park in February 2019 which was jointly funded by Bicester Town Council, Cherwell District Council through developer contributions, Sport England, alongside funds raised by Bicester’s young skaters themselves.
Designs were chosen by the public during consultations in summer 2018
Councillors and Officers worked in partnership with PC Vicky Lees, who led the initiative of the new skate park with young people to make the new park a reality.
